Hello everyone just wanted to say hello and that I'm happy to have joined this forum :)

I got my tank 3 years ago had fresh water fish in but it lasted only about a year now I'm back and into the salt water my girlfriend said she'll help this time and I got it going 7weeks ago I have an Eclipse 29g tall fish only tank.

I went to the store today and I met MidKnight and he was very helpfull and I thank him for referring me to the great site

To my ignorance I started my tank cycle with fish and one died but I think it was due to agresivness by the other fish at least thats what the fish store said. But I'm happy to informed that the others are doing well I tested my tank today and I got these results:

Ph 8.0 - 8.3
NO2 <0.3
Kh 8*dh
Nh3 0mg/L
Salt 1.023

So from what I was told I was safe to get new life into the tank so I got these:

2 Clownfish
10 Crabs
2 Shirmps
2 Feather Dusters

Here are some Pics

Now I have a few questions when I placed one of the feather duster the "feathers" fell off is it dead? but the good news is that after carefully looking at my tank I notice that I see 4 baby feather dusters is hard to see but here are 2 of them

The brown algea is almost gone but what am I to feed the hermit crabs once its
all gone? Should I encourage algea growth by leaving the lights a little longer?

Don't worry about them. They will always find something to eat.
