I'm researching into using 'dow flakes' (CaCl) to boost and maintain my calcium. I wanted to hear any comments on this method. I have used some once before and it seemed to work well. Someone gave me a cup of it to mix and try out. Is there any real difference between the regular dow flakes and the food grade stuff. The price of the food grade is about double but the guy at the supplier said that for this application the regular stuff is fine to use.
