So, I decided to shut down my fw setups (160g planted discus & 110g congo tetra/rainbowfish tank) & convinced my wife to let me set up a new 4' system. Hehehe. She didn't realize I was talking about a 90g wide frag/sump & a 120g fowlr (eventually - part II). So here's pics of the tank as its being set up.

DIY stand (2 by 6s & 2 by 4s) - plywood facing will be done later

Added lighting sys. 175w PFO retro fit with 10000k Reeflux bulb & 96w PC superactinic.

Transferred water, LR, & livestock over from established 27g long frag sys.

For the reef geeks, closer pic of sump section. Got a new ASM G4+ skimmer (thanks Mike @ Hidden Reef) and temporarily using my Eheim 2017 cannister filter as a return "pump" until I plumb in the future 120g fowlr.

What the tank will sorta look like when I add cabinet door & such.

Well, the new tank passed it first few tests with flying colours. The corals, seahorses, & other livestock seem to have gone through the quick transfer from other established tanks well. The tank sits really low so even when it was getting hot outside, it never rose above 76F or 26C.
