One of my favorite pics is the full room shot where you can see the room the tank is in. So if anyone wants to play…lets see them!
Here is one from last month and one from 6 or 8 months ago.

Okay, the staircase tank wins for originality! That rocks! Beautiful looking tank. I having visions of some scene from a horror movie where someone hurtles down the stairs and goes head first into the tank, but now worries, I think the person's head would break leaving the tank in pristine shape!
But seriously ... when do I move in?

Wow! Nice rooms and tanks! I took a few quick pics with my camera phone (quality is not great) of my tanks in our apartment. The first is my FOWLR and second is my nano reef (was my girlfriends but now she just likes to look but not touch). Its hard to see in the pics but our living room is kinda ocean themed with fake corals, shells, sea fans, fish paintings, ect.

My tanks and Fishroom are in my basement and form part of my Home Theater room. The tanks are a 125G on the left and 180G on the right with the fishroom servicing both tanks behind the 180G. That is a false wall behind the TV that houses the electrical and plumbing from the fishroom to the 125G.

Well... our tanks are in the basement (aka: ghetto) and reptile room so I'm not posting any pics!

Those are fake rocks that are commonly used on the exterior of houses. They are flat on the back and the corner ones are unique. I got them from an outdoor gardening place. There are all kinds of shape and textures. There's even one designed to look like coral, but it is shaped in regular bricks so I didn't go for it.

I got into this hobby because of "Tanked" on Animal Planet and the beautiful tanks they designed and built. I gotta say after seeing all the tanks here..... Tanked has nothing on you guys. Incredible!
Here's my little guy.

Looks very elegant!.... Guess you have to be careful when changing water or messing with your corals...

Yes I have to be careful (when my wifes home) but water changes are a breeze as sumps in my unfinished basement.

Sadly my biggest issue I face daily is space I have never used the fireplace so it has become my planter central and those plants love the aquarium lighting

HOLY WOW!!!! I looooove your tank! glass is so clean and clear!!
nice to see a fellow reefer who is also member of Emergency Services (past or present).
My husband just told me I need to get my butt in gear and get a bigger tank to look as nice as some of these! Me thinks I might have to get another job to pay for it all.... :P
With whistler rent as high as it is, I'm happy to have this space to myself with no roommate:biggrin:12748
Chef, that is one awesome TV stand!
Thanx Myka. It's Indonesian teak. It's very heavy, and i've had to move it a few times (including from Ontario), but it's one of the nicest i've seen. After a trip to Bali last year, I decided I want my whole abode furnished with this beautiful wood!

I have updated the pictures of my tanks. The 125G has 4 AI Sol and the 180G has 3 AI Vega

Sigh....you and your balls Brett. They are otherwise known as urchins. Yes, I collect balls from the sea in my travels
