I started this tank about 2 years ago. For a big part of last year I was working full time and going to school for 5 hours a night on top of that. Unfortunately I neglected my tank for that time. I'm now fighting with algae and might be winning. I've managed to clean up the water enough so I don't have any diatomes on the back wall anymore, and only need to clean my front glass every 3 days or so.

Pics are under xm 15000k 250w

I think I might have a bit too much light for my hammer coral, he's not showing much colour. This guy had some invasive algae covering his skeleton and starting to grow over his flesh, so I took him out of the tank and performed about 1.5 hours of surgery carefully scraping all the algae off his skeleton while dipping him back in a bowl of tank water every couple minutes.

This guy has kind of outgrown my tank, he just takes up so much room, might be up for a trade or something if anyone is interested. He's about 8" tall when all puffed up

I'm currently working on a stand for my 75 gallon. It's going to be more of a full system with a sump and all the plumbing hidden. I hate always seeing my skimmer pump and powerhead taking up 1/4 of the tank.
