I was wondering if anyone out there has any info on Carnation Anemones? It's bright yellow, has short tentacles with purple tips and it's base/foot is deep orange. I haven't been able to find much info in this guy online, other than people suspect that it may be dyed. However, the one I have still seems pretty happy/healthy in my tank after owning it for about half a year. It's grown and the color hasn't faded.

Also, I think my anemone is starting to divide into two. I've noticed two mouth-like openings where there was just one, a few days ago. Is this normal for anemones to divide this way?

Thanks,
Ben

Yes, totally normal. I've not read anything about carnation anemones, though.

I have one as well, i know it as a rock anemone or rock flower anemone. Try that and you might find more info.
