I have a beautiful blue arco I've had for about 4 years now. It survived my tank crash after my move thanks to Willow. and it is a much sought after frag. But lately it has really been a pain. The epoxy I used to fix it to the rock almost a year ago suddenly disintegrated. now this coral is nearly 11 inches tall and extends 8 -9 inches across. So with the wave action of my tank it has become impossible to fix it to a rock.
Well tonight I'm screwing around with it on my own (Tom R were are you) and the ENTIRE LEFT SIDE OF MY TANK COME CRASHING DOWN
Well I have at least 7 corals that are bigger than 12inches across so it took some great effort from my wife and I (Thanks Babe) but as the panic subsided and the swearing became in sync with the CO2 count on my CA reactor I realized that this just might be a good thing. The tank, I think, looks good. Maybe. Ya. and you know what. The frag tank is full.;)

Whew. Hope everything survives the rockslide event. Post pics tomorrow of the new aquascaping. It was gorgeous before. Can't wait to see what it looks like now.

heh i have this problem too. I call it the "oh I'll just adjust this a little" syndrome. I *know* what is going to happen yet I just can't resist. I call it spending "quality time" with the tank

PS. Did you say frags?

I'll be looking for frag contributions pretty soon. Nitrate is still a bit higher than I would like for the addition of SPS...but soon...

So, set aside a few hundred for me!!

How about turning lemons into Mike's Hard Lemonade and we'll have a real party!

I'm going to actually grow some of the frags out a bit and see how the frag tank with the T5s hold the SPS colour. So ther isn't too many I want to let go right away

But if you check the frags.org tag below you can see some of my frags

Well I found a casualty I didn't expect. My pour leopard wrasse. Must have been stressed to death last night.

I feel your pain.........been there-done that. I need to learn to leave things in tank alone too. My next tank will have very sturdy rockwork and not like the "house of cards" I have now. On the bright side you get to make a little money and set things up a little better than they were.

Just did this myself last nite - just had to move something just a little...... good entertainment for the family to watch , as long as its kept PG or family rated which isn't always the case :bad-word:

Sorry to hear about the wrasse passing away. It was one of the more beautifull and uncommon around town. The tank does still look tremendous though.

Hi Jason

Was that my wrasse?

How is it your tank looks better than mine even after a land side.

I know I am not the first to say, I have room in my tank to store some of your frags.
