A buddy of mine is selling an extra skimmer he made.

This is a high speed airation becket style skimmer which is very user
friendly with a o-ring lid and a key hole lower base flange for easy
cleaning. The becket head also comes apart for cleaning. The clear housing
is for visual inspection on the bubble size. $250.00 OBO

Jamie,

Do you know the size of the skimmer? Also what size is the outlet, looks kind of small in the picture, unless the skimmer is huge

Hey Lee,

It is a nice sized skimmer no doubt. I do beleive it's a 1 1/2 outlet. The riser column is 6" down to 4". But I can't remember for sure. Feel free to e-mail Karl. He will be able to answer the questions better then myself.

Jack had already made arrangements to buy Adam's old skimmer. Could you pass on the fact he should let Adam know if he doesn't want it?

I did already put a down payment on Adam's skimmer but thanks for making a heads up for me Lee. Looks like a nice skimmer though, for a great price too.

8) What would be an appropriate sized pump for that skimmer?

I'd say something in the 1000 gph range with a pressure rated pump or close to double that on a non pressure rated pump.
