One of my clownfish ate a bristle worm. The fish spit the worm out a few times but eventually ate the worm. Is there anything I can do to make sure the fish is OK? Do I have to worry at all? The fish ate his food OK when I fed them a bit after the worm was ate.

I'm guessing it's ok. But if it isn't, not sure there's really anything you can do (short of surgery...heh). That it's eating well is a very good sign.

Ya, I guess there is not much I can do, I was just wondering if I should be on the lookout to pull a dead fish out of the tank. He seemed fine this morning when I checked, I'll see how he eats tonight.

Thanks,

My clarkii clown will eat the occasional bristle worm and I've had her 7 years and still going strong.

-well i know that fireworms or bristle worms have poisonous barbs but
that might just apply 2 us humans, i'm guessing it makes a nice protein fix
for the occasional clownfish, but good feeding is defintiely a good sign
as Der Iron Chef said-
