I have tang /more a surgeon fish that is14to16 inches long that is light blue but turns black when he feeds or gets ****ed off.I have never seen a picture of him anyware I wonder does anybody have a fish that sounds like that.I will try and get a picture

Any chance it's an Atlantic Blue like the photo below. I've heard these guys can change color quite dramatically with mood. (But have no first hand knowledge)

It isn/t it .It has a more streamline body and is lighter blue.Nice fish you have.

If it has a yellow "mask" around the eyes, its an Elongate tang, A.mata. It looks like an elongated Atlantic blue and it grows to 20". Its a pelagic tang & not a regular reef tang, which is why it is not commonly seen in LFS.
