Bought this last year and has been sitting wrapped in plastic and on a strong dolly with casters in hopes that it would work inside my new place once I moved to BC. The nightmare began - my joists run parallel to where I want to put the tank (and really is the only spot to put it).

So with great sadness:

225 gallon Tank 72x30x25
1/2 Inch Glass
Drilled - Dual Corner Overflows
Euro Braced
Beautiful Stand
+ dolly to get this thing in and out of the garage.

Located in Surrey

$1450

Argh nuts. This comes with plumbing as well (spaflex etc).

Shortly I will post a bunch of other components:

Lumenarc III reflectors, Ice Cap Ballasts, Sockets, Bulbs.

I'm crushed.

It's sitting out at my Dads place about 160th and 88th right now. Stand is included!

PM me your email address and I'll send over a bunch of pictures.

Tank and Stand was locally made in Abbotsford by a vendor.

Bottom is not tempered so can be drilled further for closed loop.

just saw your other posts now. I currently have a 120 on an oceanic black stand and cap and am considering upgrading? maybe a trade could be in the works. its a dual overflow All glass tank with an awesome (expensive ) stand and cap.

Hey just wondering if you ever found out if there was starphire glass on the front of your tank or not. Also when and what are all the parts that you are selling going to be available

No, not Starfire, -

I have the following and would consider doing a combo for people:

Tank and Stand
Sequence 5800
3- Ice Cap 250watt Ballasts (new)
3 Lumenarc III Reflectors with Sockets (new)

Check out http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/mar2003/feature.htm

Mine are wrapped up and still have the protective coating on them. Also have Mogul Sockets for them.

do you know if they are single or double ended reflectors??

wetcoast

I was planning on using Single Ends. Moving to the Lumenarc Minis that handle HQI if i recall correctly. New tank only 18" deep these things are 19.5 x 19.5" Square. Crazy output.

hey, sorry for the delayed reply. still interested in them but I have one more question. did you get the venting kit with them??

wetcoast
04-20-2007, 02:17 AM
Sorry - did not. From what I understand the Horticulture Lumenarc's only come with the Venting - Can easily be drilled however.

alright no problems....I'll take them. I live in Abbotsford. When would be a suitable time to come and pick them up. I am off on Sunday and Monday if either of those days work for you or I can come in the evening one night. PM me and let me know when a good time would be. Thanks

if you run 2x6 across the joists you can easily add the tank there as long as you use the posts under the 2x6 and then cover up the posts with fake columns...
