Pretty sure it was here I had seen a post that if a pH probe dries out is toast.

Was reading through a manual for the Milwaukee SM102 and under the Operation notes is: "If the electrode has been left to dry soak the tip (bottom 2.5cm) in rinse solution (M10000B) for a few minutes to reactivate it."

The manual doesn't get into if the probe has been sitting dry for a year or an hour and if it applies to other manufacturers, just though I'd pass along though.

btw, MB100000B looks to be deionized water.

You can try it but when mine got dried out I couldnt recalibrate it.

Yes, I bought a Neptune controller and its probe was dry. I doubt there is a resurrection in its future.
