How Long do Cleaner Shrimp Live in captivity?

Just asking as my big guy that I have had since he was a tad pole (approx 2 years) is not looking to good tonght.

I vaguely recall that two years is normal, but don't take that as gospel. I will check my references, and get back to you.

2 to 4 years is what I have read but my own personal average is about 2 1/2.
