Does anyone keep their nano pumped into their main tank?

Considering putting a 10g nano above my main for guarenteed pod survival rate to the main tank, plus a place to learn coral.

What you're describing is a refugium .... :)

ya i guess it is.
but i was gonna have one below, but was worried about pods trip back to the tank. now thinking nano on system above on hood, and algae refugium below, but could be 2 refugiums

I would tend to agree that a refugium below the tank is not as good as a refugium above the tank because of the trip through the pumps to get to the main tank. With that said, it's not always practical to have something above tank so in those cases we just ake do with whatever we can make work. I see nothing wrong with going with two, though....
