I have for sale a strip of 50 LED Blue Moonlights measuring 31 inches long. I used to use the single LED moonlight i had from J & L, but these i find much more illuminating as there are 50 of them, and spread out over 31 inches. They are brand new and in the box, i ordered them in bulk so i have 4 of them for sale.

Hi. I have 6 more LED units available now... here is a pic based on 2 x strips of 50 LED's.... look stunning... and it was taken at 6:15pm this afternoon so it wasnt totally dark..... anymore questions... let me know... 2 Pin plugs, and low energy consumption and very low heat consumption.

David.

I don't see pics! That sucks that you're stuck with them. Take some nice photos and I'll bet you can sell a few.

Thanks Anthony.... but you can call me David  everyone keeps calling me by my screen name  .

Will post pics by 8:30pm tonight

Also i see that some people here are able to post pics that automatically show up rather than just showing a link? hows that possible? by the method you described? or am i doing it wrong?

here are some pics as of 3:30am.... why am i up this late???

I used to strips to light up my 180 gallon and lights up the room pretty good. i even took some pics of my lionfish and shark at the bottom of the tank so you can see its illuminated quite well at 36 inches deep.

The pics dont really do it justice as the zoos and greencaps look really great under the blue light.

Could you post pictures of the actual strips?

I'm wondering something. When I turn out my daytime lights, and then my actinics, my two LED moonlights come on. It's fairly dim with a very faint blue glow in the tank. Would the fish still sleep if the tank were lit up with such a bright LED blue glow? Maybe it's a silly question! I don't know.

Please, someone illuminate me! (sorry, bad joke...)

...same question here for Dave.....it does seem really bright...are the fish getting a dark enough tank to experience night with this many LED's?

I was also told though that the blue led colours mimic the moon light and that inhabitants were proven fine with this and also that they couldnt see you, but you could see them inside the tank and observe their natural behaviour.

however maybe i went abit overkill on the large tank..... maybe i should just use the one strip on my 180 gallon....

I didnt think that it mattered too much in the large tank seeing as all the inhabitants there are nocturnal predators......

Either that or i will change the angle of the light strip to not illuminate the tank as much.....

Good point guys, im pretty new to this so still constantly learning, thanks for the input.

For those wanting pics of the strips, you can maybe email me as i tried posting new pics but i am at my limit and the other sites that people suggested doesnt seem to work. I dont want to take the pics of my posting yet for other people ask to see pics of the tank etc.
