Coral Light and Fiji purple T5 combinations are all the rave right now in europe (made by Korallen Zucht). Some people are claiming "they're never going back to MH", because of these bulbs... Wondering how to get them in Canada?

"Coral Light" bulbs are supposed to be a ballanced blue/white bulb with a 5% red, and the "Fiji" bulbs are blue/pink. The bulb combination's supposed to make colours flare up, usually within 3 weeks. They don't seem cheap though. 4' bulbs cost a whopping 20 pounds (bout $40 canadian), but if they're as good as they're supposed to be, I'd pay the extra :)

Here's a pictures of how they look with a bulb combination of 7CL and 5Fiji:

We have these bulbs comming ,but it will be in a about 4 weeks or so .Yes ,the price will be high ,but they are better quality & special spectrum bulb with the added red ,I have seen these bulbs in germany they do look different than other bulbs on the market.
Also ATI is releasing the Super white Voll SPECKTRUM bulb soon ,which is the only bulb truly designed to grow corals, they have been trying many different K tempreture & Combinations.NOT EXACTLY SURE WHEN THEY WILL BE RELEASED ALBERT:mrgreen:
However still very exciting stuff ,the T5 thec seem to be improving & many are keeping amazing tanks under T5 .

Sweet! I assume albert will be able to get them then. 4 weeks... good timing for when I have to change the rest of my bulbs :) think they'll be 'round $40 each for 4' bulbs?

dimmable T5's. maybe one day we'll have a ballast for each bulb that's dimmed by a computer, not unlike the Solaris lighting. Do clouds n all that.
