First new bird of spring... Couldn't resist seeing how the camera did - good thing this shot worked cuz birdie flew away before I could get another picture.

A male Carduelis Flammea, to be specific. I have to say that I miss the Bombycilla garrulus (Bohemian Waxwing) that Edmonton has at this time of year.

Spring is here !
Nikon Coolpix 4500.
Unfortunately I left this camera in a taxi leaving Bangkok along with several hundred shots of our six week stay in Thailand :( :(

I have to say that I miss the Bombycilla garrulus (Bohemian Waxwing) that Edmonton has at this time of year.

My favorite also they striped our final mountain ash berries last week :mrgreen:

No but the wife has some nesting in the front yard.....and boy are they ever tiny, and it seems the colder it is the perker they get :razz:
