Looks nice...however I can see it being expensive to obtain the 6" diametre acrylic tube. Maybe we could do a group buy on 6 feet of the stuff and divide it up?

I would be in if the price was right.

6" tube isn't too bad. Especially if you only do 1/8" wall extruded. Its about $12 per foot last I had to buy some...anything larger is big bucks.

what's the difference between that and a hose that goes from the collection cup to a milk jug?

Fancier. Has the ping pong ball under the vent so if it floods it will block it from spilling all over the floor.
Also with the vent with carbon it would reduce the "odifereance" feature of skimmate.

The thing about waste collectors though, you have to have a skimmer that is air tight, otherwise the waste collector won't work properly, if at all.

I'm pretty sure my G6 isn't air tight! In fact, "tight" is not a word I would use in any form to describe the G6.

Well I was thinking of useing it just to keep the smell out...I could care less about the whole overflowing thing cause I keep an eye on things like that..

What's a good way to tap into a collection cup, then?

Drill a hole in the bottom of it or on the side tap the hole and thread on a barb fitting!!
