Here's my pride and joy - 1975 Honda cb550f supersport
Daily commuter... uh, weather permiting

And this was the one I just sold - 2005 Honda 919

I had to sell it to free up some reefing money... plus, I was a little nervous turning wrenches on something that's still under warranty. A cb550 was the first 'bike I ever owned when I was 14 years old - and it's fun to work on.

hqgc, wouldn't it be uncomfortable to go road-tripping/cruising with the handlebars so high like that? My arms are going numb just looking at that picture..

No pic until spring, but
79 Harley roadster shovelhead, 1 1/2" low ride, solo seat, duel shotguns no baffels, straight bars, 185 rear rim and bullet signals (black rat).
I call it my Texas dirt bike (lol)
Fish nice ride.

You guys are killing me. I like to ride, but don't have a bike right now. Last ones were a Honda Nighthawk 450, and a Yamaha 750xs (1979). Great pics all!

Hey BMW Rider (Ed);
If you haven't seen the show Long way Round you should check it out. It has Ewan McGregor and a pal and they cruise the world on bmw's. Quite ironic the only place they both get in an accident around the whole world is in Alberta. One on highway 2, the other downtown Calgary. Sum's up riding in Alberta in a nutshell.

I've seen some, but not all of it. They were riding the big brother to my little GS, the R1150GS Adventure. Lots of world adventure travellers like the BMW GSs. I'm just itching to get out on mine some more, I just got it in late November, so I've only rode it about 350 Kms so far. The RS has a bit more experience at 115,000 kms now.

Dude that is really cool. I would love to pick one of those up but they have become a bit of a cult bike now and are not cheap.

be careful in BC, while we are allowed to have beanies, your handle bars are illegal here. I think for ape hangers the hands cannot be above your shoulders.

I ride a 2004 AERO, I'll dig up a pic when I get back to BC. I am in Ontario for 2 weeks right now.
