Been lurking around awhile, thought I would pop up with a question.

Got a scotter blenny the other day and appears to have gotten all the pods. It's eating frozen mysis and brine but wondering about a local or Cdn supplier for pods. Seems they are available in the US but won't ship here.

Have a 75g sumpless FOWLR that plan to turn eventually to a reef. Tank has been up for a month with 40# LR. Orginally started with coral frags as a substrate but since replaced most with 90# oolite. The remaining frags assume can be considered as pod piles.

Check out the link in the RH column ( ----> ) for Saltwater Connection. They advertise live sand with all kinds of pods, etc. A few pounds of that would set you up again, I would think.

But with the predation you're experiencing, the pod piles are a supposed to be a good idea if you're not running a refugium or sump.

Good luck!
