Hi I have a bunch of tiny little star fish that look sorta like brittle stars but are very small. They hide all the time but I occasionally see one out, and I always see a leg sticking out of the rock here or there. They are to small and shy to get a pic worth posting. I was just wondering if anyone knows what they are? and are they good or bad?

Do they breed like crazy because I bought one piece of live rock that had maybe 20 on it and now I would say I have at least 500.

If there's enough food to support the population they will.

Any idea on how many of these starfish a halequin eats? i hear the shrimp is a very selective eater and if the population is gone the shrimp will starve.. reason i ask is i am eager to get another invert

Cheers,
Ken
