Need some acrylic scraps any thickness, but thicker is better. Calgary only.

Try looking up a plastics/glass supply store around wherever you are. Most places that deal with plexiglass/acrylic should have a scraps bin that you can raid for anywhere from cheap to free. Just call them in advance. Keep in mind that the scraps will be random sizes/thicknesses and that if you want watertight seals, you'll have to finish the edges yourself (which isn't all that hard anyways)

For some reason I never thought of that. I guess I always assume that retail means buying new, not salvaging scraps.

Thanks,

What sort of sizes you looking for, Danny? I have a pile of acrylic pieces from salvage and whatnot, might have something for you.. let me know.

Cool Tony thanks. I want to put a lid over my sump, and re-do my overflow box to try and make it look a bit more like yours. Can you PM you phone number to me again?
