Not likely majano. They are green in colour. Look like baby green btas. This one is pink. Hitchhiker?

he's apart of my refugium from my small tank i've been breaking down and cleaning up...good news then. funny thing about him, seems to shy away from any light, does this make sense?

It makes sense to me. I have 3 or 4 of those in my fuge too and they all hate light.

I am not sure what they are exactly. Being that they are in my fuge they don't really alarm me much.

I will be interested to see what others say about them.

even if it was one, seems to be a bit of contention about wether or not majanos are good or bad...

majanos in tank bad, in sump not to bad.
They are great water polishers and if you can keep them from entering you main tank your good to go.

Have a friend whose majano collection is out of control. Hundreds, possibly thousands in his reef tank. Looks like a sea bed of green anemones. Sting most of his corals. Really bad outbreak.

Richardthe duplex sump/refugium utilizes this idea(benthic zone)ideally a breading ground for of aptasia as a way to export nutrients.
