I bought some of these and was told they were actinics but I think they have a different blue than actinics. Yes the livestock still fluoresces but the colour looks different, a bit less blue than I remember CF's and NO's. I'm not sure how they'll effect or contribute to coraline algae growth but we'll see. I'm planning on having two over my tank and one over my sump/refugium that will be filled with reef rubble.
