I was looking at a compatability list for these 2 and it says "with caution" anyone house these together with/without any problems?

I think it's going to be a crap shoot no matter which way it goes, really. They might be fine, heck - I've heard of people keeping dwarf angels and seahorses together - in theory it shouldn't work :)

The biggest issue I can see is that you're going to have one very calm, passive and thoughtful fish. Then you're going to have an ADHD fish that might pester the heck out of your Mandarin. And with most mandarins being picky eaters, it might not be the best situation, and you may end up with a very, very hungry mandarin.

I have both in my 90 with no problems. they being together for about 2 years.
My royal gramma is not small by any means. he is about 5 inches. and the mandrain is about 3 inches. I added them at different times. The royal gramma was in the tank first

I've got those two in a 55, no problem. The Mandarin is small though.

Have 2 Mandarins & 1 Royal Gramma in the same tank. No problems at all between them.

The Royal Gramma I kept wasn't aggro or anything, I think it would work out.
