Well I guess it is time for a new tank,unfortunately not for me:sad: ,but for my friend & partner in business (Proline) Shane.
We just started with this tank last week ,I try to keep everyone posted of our progress ,I though I start with a list of euiptment & then move on to some pictures:razz:
1-Tank : 180 Gal 6'x2'x2'
2-skimmer : Bubble king 250 internal
3-Return pump : Red dragon 6.3 m3 (1600 gph)
4-Wave makers :
2 x Wavy sea on returns
2 x Vortechs on indiviual back ups
1 x Tunze 6100
1 x Tunze wave box
All connected to profilux for natural wave simulation
5- Sump : Euro-Reef sch 80 PVC Sump with clear front panel
6- Reactors :
Marinetech ZR-2 Zeovit reactor
Marinetech 5 stage calcium reactor
7- lighting:
3 x 400w pendents in a hood powered by Icecap Electronic ballast(Aquaconnect 14k bulbs)
8 x 39 w T5 on dimmable Osram ballast controlled by profilux (ATI Bulbs)
3 x GHL LED Sticks for moonlight & morning lightning effects
8- Chiller : 1/4 hrs Arctica
9- System control :Profilux Plus II complete with W-LAN
10- Pluming all sch 80
12- Heaters : 2 x Via Aqua 300 w Heaters connected to profilux
Well I hope I didn't miss anything:lol:
I will be asking Shane to post some pictures as we go.

Now as for livestock tank will be mainly SPS & a few miscs.
My tank is almost fully dismantled I will be moving in 2 months & setting up a 4'x 4' x 4' I can not wait:lol:

Marc is keeping a few corals for me & also Chris is holding a few colonies
(Thank you guys) until this tank is ready

We are using none to very little live rock in this tank it will be all Reef Ceramics to ensure minimal cycling time.
Zeovit system will be used therefore there is absolutely no need for UV ,OZONE or Phosphate adsorbers.List of additives to come soon

That is one impressive tank. Must be tough to let it go- but thanks for showing what is possible!

awesome looking tank jason. definitely keep us posted. i can hardly wait to see your new tank. those dimensions are insane

Thank you for kind words .
Yes 4'x4'x4' are different dimensions you might not see every day ,but I am looking to do something different for my next tank ,I will definately start a thread for it once I start constructing
At this point more than anything I am excited about Shane's tank

WOW Jason! I had no idea your tank was soo beautiful!!!! Can't wait to see your 4'cube project, thats for sure one of a kind!
