Enjoying the weather in Edmonton everyone . Had to turn around and come home due to the blowing snow this morning. Cars are in the ditch and the visibility is about 20 feet.

How about your area?

-14 right now....and the possibility/probability of snow is lingering in the air. Whee! *sigh*

-25 with a wind chill about -45. Plane crashed at the airport yesterday trying to land (nobody hurt thankfully). I had to be towed onto the highway this morning just to get out of my road (and that is with me in 4 X 4).
Are we having fun yet?

I sometimes help our condo's maintenance man with snow shovelling while he's at work. Just got in from doing the front entryway and the sidewalks in front of the building. Nose dripping profusely. Legs and face a bit numb. Arms, shoulders and back gonna be useless for the next few days. But I was sweating out there, nonetheless! But I feel good having done a good deed for our hardworking maintenance guy and for getting a huge dose of fresh air :)

Today should have been a snow day for me. But I guess someone needs to build this city. LOL. Closed tomorow. Too cold for Concrete but still lots of lab work to do. At least I'll be inside.

Counted a total of 76 cars in the ditch on the way to work the other day. I think some people need to get driver training for those lovely snow filled winter days

Its gotten much better here now, haha, it was only... what... 15 below today? The cold or snow doesnt bother me at all, just the wind!

Some people really need to learn to drive... on the way to coffee with a friend the other night, I spotted a car northbound on the west side of the road sitting perfectly flat ontop of the large snowbanks... there was a flatbed truck backed up to the front of the car to winch it right off the snowbank and onto the truck, it was only a foot lower than the bed! And people passing me(40-45km/h) with the SUV while they go above 60 down roads with ice ridges tossing my car and even the busses around... I thought they were nuts! Saw a guy driving right in the middle of the road today too... heading right for me in the left lane... scared the beejeesus out of me!

Chris

P.S. Sorry for the driving rant! :p
