2nd split this year. Porcelain crab (with missing claw and legs) can be seen on the right clone.

Sam, congrats on the new addition! Seems you and I are in a race, isn't that your third now as well? :D

Hey Zulu, how is the BTA split that you got from me doing?

Andrew, yeah, that was the 2nd split. I'm actively searching for a rose BTA now as I plan to sell my Sebae Giant soon to make room.

Ditto for me Sam. I'm also looking for a rose BTA to replace my tan BTA. Hopefully I can find a nicely coloured rose specimen that is as happy and healthy as my tan BTA is.

If you find one who ships to Canada, let me know. Maybe we can order 2 and split the shipping cost. I estimate that they'll cost at least US $75-100 each. Or if they only ship to the US and you have a post office box near the border, we can get it shipped there and you can pick them up and I'll pay for the entire shipping cost of the anemones.

I do know someone who has a beautiful rose BTA, but it is still small and I know he wont be parting with it anytime soon. I have called dibs on the first split from it, so perhaps I'll have one in the coming months that I can offer a split from to you?

Or perhaps the original one will thrive and split a couple times so that we can both get one soon?

PS... I'm not telling who has the rose BTA, but it is a retailer you were at just recently that has it. Hint: if you want to see it you'll have to make the long drive back there.

Yes, I did see that one when I was there. It wasn't all that small if I remember. I think it will split anytime now. I suggested to him that he put a porcelain crab in there to speed up the process. :) Its uncertain whether or not he'd even sell the first clone as he may decide to propagate several generations to stock up on them before selling.

I also know a couple of guys in Seattle who have some. I'm 12th on one of the waiting lists. At that rate, I should get one in 4 years (assuming a few people drop off the list by then). :x
