Hi Tom,
The camera is nothing fancy. It's just a little Sony Cyber-shot (DSC-W100) and has 8.1 megapixels. The camera size is about 4" X 2" and maybe an inch thick, so it fits nicely into my pocket. I find packing a big camera around is too inconvenient and I never end up using it so this one is a perfect size for me.

Holy Macro Batman. Those are sweet close ups. Great, now I need to upgrade my camera too.

I have the same camera, an earlier edition 6.0 megapixels. Being camera challenged I have not been able to take pictures like yours. Then again I do not have corals like yours either. What settings are you using and are you using a tripod?

I use the macro setting and take most pictures from the top down through my viewer(acrylic box). I did not use a tripod.
