I have no experience with the Deltec, but the Remora are excellent skimmers. I actually used a standard Remora (rated 75 gal) for a FOWLR 90 gal. It worked great. The 90 had a blue lined snapper, miniatus grouper, pink tailed trigger, and picasso trigger. The tank was overstocked but the skimmer kept on producing thick black smelly stuff. The water parameters were good.

What i dislike about ranora that it has pump inside the tank, what i like about Deltec you can utilise space inside the unit for filtration media and even heater. Check Deltec tread on ReefCentral for MCE300 i think there was some one who said something about the collection cup issue.
I think the best skimmer is the one that you never see for sale used.
Even everyones favorite EuroReef is some times poping up here and there.
If i woiuld have to pick between these two i'd take Deltec but would go for MCE600. JMHO
