so i decided i would try feeding some corals today with some diced up shrimp. Wouldnt you know it the second i got it in the water it gets blown all over the place. Anyone else find this? chunks need to be larger or what? tips and tricks anyone?

I am new to reefing but I read on one forum to use 'turkey baster" and squirt directly at coral mouth does that make sense?

What type of corals are you trying to feed?

Turn the pumps off for an hour during feeding.

I throw a lil bit in the tank and let it get blowin everywhere so the food smeel is in the water then the corals will extend there tentacles .Then i turn the pumps off and let them have it!i feed every coral in my tank at least once a week.

I use a turkey baster and blast the food towards the coral.
