View Full Version : Where can I buy a 18V DC power supply?

A while back I picked up an Ozonizer unit without a power supply.

It needs 18 VDC 0.3amp.

I didn't think it was a big deal since I seem to have dozens of power supplies from various junked-out-whatnots (i.e., piece of electronics dies, I throw the power supply into the "pile"). However I went through them all and I found 3V, 5V, 9V, 12V, 24V but no 18V.

I checked Home Depot, Canuck Tire, Futureshop ... all have DC adapters that go up to 12V, nothing that goes beyond.

I'll try "The Source by Circuit City" (wasn't it much easier when they just called themselves "Radio Shack" ??) tomorrow.

Princess Auto maybe?

Worst case scenario I have to email Red Sea and see if they can sell me a replacement, but surely I could find something local .. maybe at an electrical supplies store or electronics supplies kind of store?

Any ideas would be appreciated .. thanks!

Most laptop power supplies are 18 volt if that helps.
