That is wicked fun, but they need an erase button.
Ya, I was thinking the same thing.

Ok, I think we should all send you our resume's. Look at a Salt Water Cube all day and play line rider. How much does that pay?

Haha, I wish. I actually sold the cube after I lost my desk and was moved to a field position. And I came across the game while I was surfing at home.
Nope, all I do at work now is work... and check Canreef (kinda like now).

Last night I sucked  This morning, I've got the rider going on a really great ride. Good, simple game
Here I thought I had some good runs until I looked at some of the movies.

Ummm.... I'm not counting how long I've put in
LOL
You guys kill me. It looks like the people that in the videos have some special tool that allows them to draw perfectly straight lines... where can I get one!

Wow, some of those movies are pretty detailed. I wish I had that kind of creativity/time/patience ... :)

Straight lines are actually easy... On the standalone version, left click, move a hair (holding down) right click while holding the left, let go of both, reposition mouse (right click again if you need to move the macromedia drop box) then hit esc - straight line. But left click again right away because it's going to want to continue ;)
Andy,
Thanks for the tip bro! Now my heroic little tobbogganer can really build up some speed.

This is one fun game.. I don't know why, but it is... haha. For as simple as the game is, you'd think it would be pretty simple. Not..
And the videos on the site.. holy hell...

I always thought so but after whatching some of those vid's now I know for sure SOME PEOPLE HAVE TOO MUCH TIME ON THERE HANDS
LOL
Question:
In some of the movies, you see black boxes that give them a speed burst, etc, etc.. how do you get the boxes?
.... yes... I'm hooked.
Hahaa. Ya, those "cannon" things are cool. I don't know if there is a special tool or plugin that allows you to make those? I have found that somtimes lines at perpendicular angles will cause your little dude to get shot up into the air. My kids are the best ones at making those - they just draw a bunch of squiggles around the screen that shoot the rider gets back and forth. Maybe it has something to do with that???
I have noticed that the tracks I "save" aren't still saved after I turn off the computer. I was also trying to find what directory they are saved in. I was hoping that I could copy the file and then send it to someone else who had the game so they could put it in their folder and play it - kinda share them around. I have been unable to find where these things are saved. Is there someone that knows macromedia and can explain if this is even possible?
Cheers,
- Chad
Okay.. Chad, what I did was register on the forum on linerider.org , and accessed the tips and tricks forum... and BAM, all the answers are there. Saved files, etc, etc.. check it out.

Awesome. This is gonna take my lineriding to a whole new level.
(ok so that sounded a little cheesy - but on purpose).
Thanks Scott
