Yes, I know majano anemones are a nuisance. Let me explain...

I've got a mantis shrimp (:twised:) and a three-stripe damsel in a 13 gallon tank (recently upgraded from a 6 gallon). Due to the mantis, I don't feel horribly inclined to put my hands in the tank very often, if at all. I found that aipstasia are a nice alternative to corals in a FOWLR, and I've had a lot of fun with them. They're hardy, they look fairly nice, and they don't get knocked around like other frags might. I figure majanos are about the same as aipstasia, bu they're more colourful.

Any help finding some would be great.

Are they more "flower looking" with greenish centers? Shorter than Aptasia? I think I have about three. They stick out of holes in the LR, I'll try and harvest a few this coming week.

When I was on vaction in BC this summer I saw a display in a store that was over run with majanos, it was really neat. Good solution for your situation.

I think so. I've only seen pictures of 'em, and they get mixed up with BTAs, AFAIK.

That would be great.

I hope so. I really like the aipstasia, but something more colourful would look great in my new tank. Corals are out of the question at this point, since there are so many aipstasia taking over the tank.
