Aquasafe maintenance

can someone tell me how often and for how long you should flush the membrane (switching the little redirect valve) and also, how do i know when the DI beads are toast? i have a maximus unit that's gotta be pushing 2 years now but TDS is still 001...same as when it was first installed.

Quoting from the FAQ Ed @ Aquasafe recently resent me: Flush once a month for 10-15 mins. For normal water. High Calcium...well calcium cakes everything...membranes are no exception....high TDS....some customers have 1800...flush early and often. Low PSI...early and often.

The DI will slowly change colour, but TDS is really your best guide, I suppose.
