View Full Version : X-Canada Frag trading?

Been poking around on a few boards with some relatively big 'frag swaps' threads.

Anyone interested in doing some cross-canada swaps? Looking through the tanks from the various regions, it's fairly obvious whats "common" in one area is a rare find in others. And it's always good to spread the genetics around right (I see it as backup - if I loose mine, there's that many more options to get that frag back)

The summer heats waning, the nights aren't too cold - a good 6-8 weeks of 'easy' shipping weather left.

Anyone game? Post up what you've got / what you're looking for...

I've got multiple zoo morphs, will make more frags if there's interest, few Green Candycane Frags, I'll put up a Ricordia or two if someone's got something cool. I'm looking for intense Zoo frags, shrooms, Montis, Acros, bright colored Leather........

Well I've still got 30 odd heads of:

Keep forgetting I've still got two of these blastos mounted on live rock and ready to go - Not looking as good for this pic, they seem to do better under 65w of 50/50 - they get kinda bleach/green under higher light (shown 65w 10k - they look amazing bright red w/ green centers in my 3g under 18w of 10k and 18w of 50/50)

This guy's new (6 weeks in tank), but will be going under the knife for the first time this weekend - Frags ready in a week or two...

I'm after blasto's, faviids, acans and my twig (read sps) collection needs to grow...

Not seeing much interest, I find that kind of interesting... Is it simply being unsure of how to ship? I'm sure a few of us here can happily walk ya through your first shipping experiences. It really isn't that bad, and most coral can be shipped without incurring air-freight costs.

I don't have much too offer for trades but I would certainly love to get a small mix (read inexpensive :) ) of SPS. I have a lacking amount of color in my tank and a love for Monties, Acros etc :D

Got to love small towns!
