i topped up my sump to the max line, and since i've been getting some gurgling sound every few minutes. as the water level has dropped in the sump the sound is not as often but it's still there.
any ideas? suggestions to correct?

what type of stand pipe do you have in your overflow?

at the top is a white cap piece with a small top (for air?) and a " u" that goes back into the overflow a couple of inches

is it a flushing motion of the water in the over flow???? or is it caused by the water ruching in to the sump water?

sounds more like air escaping in the first chamber of the sump

Hey Rob is there a small hole in the cap at the top? Make sure it isn't plugged if there is. Also you may want to drill it a bit bigger if it is unplugged and still gurgling.
