The moderators will love it. Please help me get this piture (avatar) beside this friends posts, It will be the talk of the forum.

thanx,

Is it fixable? How do we get the stretch marks out of it?

Hi,
It is important to match the aspect ratio (96 x 128 pixels) of the supplied avatar images here. If you post a square picture, the board software places it into a 96 by 128 rectangular space, hence the stretchies.

If your image editing software isn't giving the results you're after, try Photoshop. The crop tool shows the pixel dimensions as you draw the box around your selection. It's a little tricky, but the results are really fine.

Or just send me the original. :D

Hello,

You can do anyone of the following in your case:
1) re-draw the thing to the appropriate size
2) re-size the thing to the appropriate size
3) add in white space (canvas in Photoshop language) to adjust for the aspect ratio

Note that I use 3) for mine.
