I've decided to make a stand for my new 75 gal. tank since I've got the tools and all the 2x4s and 4x4s I could ever want. I've found a few sites online, and for the most part, it looks simple enough to do. But I was wondering if anyone has found some plans online and built it? (with the basic 2x4 design) Can anyone recomend a site that they've used? Thanks.

Thanks! I ended up using this one:
http://www.arbreptiles.com/cages/75g_stand/index.shtml
But we modified it a bit. Now, it can hold an elephant. :P
It ended up costing about $8. ~5.50 for a big bottle of wood glue and 2.50 for a new sander belt, everything else we had.
I just had to show it off a bit ;)

Ya, I forgot to mention, I'll put a shelf on the bottom like they did on the website. Eventually I'll cover it up with some "pretty" wood and add doors and maybe another shelf in the middle and I'd stain it all. But right now, I'm perfectly happy with how it is.

I know what you mean, right now it's just sitting upstairs, and everytime I go past it I just have to tap on it or run my hand across the top

The pic doesn't do it much justice, but I think the colours and grain of the wood look really good, especially considering it's all salvaged wood! xD It was a lot of sanding though...
And the good thing is, as sturdy as it is, it's not too heavy, and can easily be manuvered by two people :D
