Chris is going to Calgary this Friday, August 18, to pick up a marine betta from Gold's for our 120g

Anybody else need anything from Gold's? If so, make your order at Gold's (phone 403-273-5567), tell Dennis or Albert that it will be picked up by Chris on Friday, pay for it over the phone, and Chris can bring it back for you. ETA back in Edmonton will be 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Friday. A small donation for gas money would be appreciated if you order anything.

Please PM me with your name, phone number and what you have ordered so there will be no confusion while Chris is at the store.

Also, Gold's is closed Thursdays, but is open today from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm for you to place orders.

Sorry this notice has appeared so late in the day, but I've been having trouble accessing the Internet all day.

Albert,

What kind of prices do you have on salt, like IO or whatever else you have on hand?

Maybe you have some special fish, corals or inverts you'd like to give prices on as well?

The beautiful marine betta we brought home from Gold's has now been in our 120g reef for about 24 hours. It's been getting bolder and bolder in its attempts to scope out the tank and has been seen out from under the rockwork several times in "full daylight".

The marine betta, or Spot as I call it , has the solarensis fairy wrasse quite confused. There have been no head to heads because the "strong, silent type" posturing of the betta has the wrasse completely subservient. I kinda feel sorry for the wrasse, but am not at all sorry for getting Spot.

Anyway, thanks Albert and Dennis, for keeping Spot for us. Your kindness is much appreciated :)

I think you should make a video of "Spot" ;)

Cheers,
Aquaman

Aquaman,

Once Spot settles in better, I probably will

I saw a Marine Betta for sale at Big Als yesterday in Edmonton, what did you pay for yours?

Paid $49.99. It's about 3.5"-4" long, smaller than the one we used to have, and is in excellent condition.

I'm glad to see it doing well.
