Does anyone know where to find these bulbs in Canada? Perferably in Alberta... but I'm willing to take any information on a location?

Currently I'm running similar bulbs but I believe mine are 2700K, I'd like to upgrade them to 5100K to give my newly aquired Gracillaria a more favorable light spectrum.

Thanks

Or in Vancouver. I checked with HD and they only carry this in the states.
Maybe we should make a run for the border.

Better yet if someone wanted to go to the states and bring back a bunch of the 65 Watt Fluorex light units, I would be the first in line to buy one.

Take a look for Litemor/Home Depot Commercial in your area, they are all over Canada and have all sorts of neat little goodies for lighting there, including your TCP bulb.

They are the one that told me the part number on Merv's site are US and they don't have know what might match them.
I tried talking to the rep from the manufacture but he was always gone when I arrived.

I've been using a Philips Natural Light 75w halogen for a couple months now. The thing grows cheato like crazy but it does throw out quite a bit of heat. I only have it about 4 inches over my sump because there isn't more room in the stand and I broke 2 glass covers with it. If you can put it up a little higher it would probably work really well for you.

It was under $10 at HD.

Hey I found this bulb:

http://www.bulbs.com/products/product_detail.asp?inventory=11809

There are lots of other bulbs too. Looks like there's just a flat rate USPS shipping of $7.90US.

Anyone else interested in jumping in? If so, I'll get the ball rolling...

Think they'll ship to Canada?

Of course they do, that's why I'm asking if anyone else wants in. They'll ship to canada via USPS, so it's really cheap.

I just had a look again, and I think I'd perfer to find a 'spotlight' style light, as they are easier to clean salt creep off of. (something my 'fuge lights get a lot of)

They sell LOTS of different bulbs, just browse around the site. The one I linked to is just a suggestion.
