Maintenance Program : 10% change monthly. 5g top-off every three days with CaOH2 All new water is RO-D/I.

Darren, didn't catch them, but I had hudreds of worms on the sand bed at night and a week after adding the shrimp, no more surface dwelling worms...none!! I suppose they could have gone into the sand, but I suspect (strongly) that they were midnight snacks! JMO

was it the cleaners or the 2 peppermint shrimp. everthing I have read says the peppermint shrimp eat the worms in your sand bed.

The cleaners. Peppermints are recent additions.

I'd suspect the peps more than the cleaners. I haven't ever seen cleaners snacking on worms. Pepermints on the other hand will. and they do a wonderful job at it.

But you never know...

it was my cleaner steve, but I still have tons of worms!
