Does the tank come with the two filters, or were those sold seperately?

prosnow
06-28-2006, 03:33 PM
i need to talk to my buddy that gave them to me first, dont want to just go and sell them on him

TheReefGeek
06-28-2006, 03:47 PM
aight. Because of the 4 holes drilled but no overflow built, its a tough tank to use without the 2 filters.

From your tank pics it looks like 2 holes are almost against the back wall.
Someone could probably install 1 piece of glass with some egg-crate on top for an overflow, and use the two other holes as the return lines hidden in rockwork.

Trust me, I'm not being a vulture here, but if someone can pick this up from him and hold it for me, I'll pay you through interac money transfer for it.

I don't need it, and that will mean another tank to get rid of, but if it helps him out, I'll take it. Just let me know you have it, and I'll pay up.

If someone else wants it, bloody well take it before he has to toss it or something.

What a RIP

The 70w fixture ended up NOT being the one in his pictures, its not a fixture but a wooden POS box. The electronic ballast buzzes, and the lightbulb flickers.

I'll see if I have time tonight to snap a pic. :)

I'm going to re-wire the ballast in case that is causing the buzzing, maybe that will fix the bulb, and its definately going to need a new fixture. :)
