Saw one of these at the LFS that looked quite healthy. All I can find on them is that they grow to 40cm in the wild. The one I saw was only 3". No information about what they eat though.

Would this be a good fish in an aquarium?

Pssst. That's over a foot long adult size. How big is your tank? BTW, I would guess that it's a big time vegetarian & will create lots of nice poop for your skimmer, especially once it starts to grow.

I'm sure it eats algae as a primary food source, just like most Rabbitfishes. It looks great and I'm sure it would be fine but you may have coral nipping problems that are associated with any Rabbitfish.
