Tank has been doing awesome in 2006. Added a UV sterilizer and replaced my previous useless skimmer with an AquaC skimmer. Just recently installed a sump, and a DIY Kalk reactor this month. Will need to eventually sell some Acro colonies to make room for new ones.

Great looking tank Sam. I know someone that will be interested in buying your acro colonies when you decide to sell them.

Hey Sam has your RBTA ever split? I have a huge one that looks very similar to yours and I have thought it was going to split a couple of times but it never has. Just curious.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Ruth, my Rose BTA has split many many times already. Something like 10 or so. I've had it for many years. I think I was the first Canreefer at that time to get it. It was imported from Oregon thanks to Ryland.

Sebae, yeah, I can show you my Kalk Reactor. I said it was DIY but really it was more like I customized a Phosban Reactor. Here is a picture of it. I'll post more detail in the DIY forum.

EDIT: Here's more detail on the kalk reactor

Looks awesome Sam!

It's funny sometimes how mature tanks get an almost "second wind"

I'm happy it's working out well for ya, by the way we should go for coffee soon.

cheers, Rich

Great looking tank. Glad I got to see it "live" a few months ago.
