There's a spinnoff group from PETA that frequents this forum called RAPE (Reefers Against Phish Exploitation), I'm sure they'll be all over this.

but they are playing with each other with out fighting, all fat and healthy looking, they get lots of exercise in that tank. so I think that is an environment for people to strive to-wards.

You say there are to many tangs in the tang, how big of tank is it? is it a temporay tank?

those tangs need to work on their scoring ability or they will be traded for higher scoring wrasses.

+1, The tank looks just fine to me.

Id have to agree with Wayne on this one.....while there may still be plenty of swimming space the thought of a tank put together for the sole purpose of capitalizing on the world cup while using live fish (all of which stress really easily) is kinda disturbing.....*wonders if astro-turf is reef safe?...... and if the tangs nibble at it:mrgreen:*

I agree with Doug, it's not exactly an ideal set up for fish to thrive in and I feel bad for the fish having a shrimp ball in front of them to pick at but it looks like they can't really eat it. Must be frustrating to have food right in front of you that you want to eat but can't because it's contained in a mesh screen. Have to say it seems rather cruel

Hey, I would be happy to post a photo.
I live downtown Vancouver and if there is a 'photo guy or girl' who can take a picture I would be happy to meet up.
The tank is composed of florescent corals lit by LED lighting.
PM me if there is anyone willing to do this. I would appreciate it.
I was away diving in a remote area of Norther Sumatra, Indonesia so missed this post.
Why did the Mod interject?

Seriously........cmon astro turf falls apart under the best conditions, let alone in a tank full of saltwater....my tangs got put in a tank with their needs in mind and I do my best to provide them with with everything I can.....this tank is a circus side show put together for no other reason than to sell something.....perhaps you should check out a LFS here in Calgary....you would probably like the 14g bio-cube they have with the regal and yellow tangs in it....
