I'm accepting applications for the adoption of a baby GBTA clone. He's not very big, but he needs a good home. Adoption fees will be reasonable, in fact, offers are welcome.

Trades of interesting zoos or other corals will be entertained.

No shipping - local only.

Regards,
Matthew

If pre-2k doesn't take him, I will.

Matt,

How big was your GBTA when it split?

Beverly,

It was 4-5" across when fully extended, smaller when 'bubbling'. It was hard to say, because it has its foot so far back in the rock (at least 3") that by the time it got out into the light, most of its mass was still unseen.

The clone is about 2" across, and is a bit smaller than the parent.

I was surprised when it split, but it seemed to react to the change in bulbs when we replaced it a few weeks ago -- immediately retracted into the rockwork and didn't come out until it was two.

Spoken for, everyone. Thanks for the interest. If the little devil splits again I'll work down the "dibs" list before I repost.

A very late bump... Anyone have Chris' (pre-2k) telephone number? I still have that GBTA baby. If I can't reach Chris in the next very short while, I have to put it back on the block. Accepting applications again... you still interested Rory?
