Yeah I know........pretty insane. I can self justify a lot of things and went through the usual list of excuse...er reasons why I should guy it and even with the price of oil up and the company I work for doing really well.....gotta love stock options.......I was still coming up a couple of thousand short.

I find it odd that it's noted as the most "sought after" - sought after by who? I can't imagine that too many people keep these angels. Very strange, since I think several of the other Chaetodontoplus species are much nicer looking - and at that price you could buy a small school of them!

i mean i'm the first to admit that most times i spend too much in the LFS but come on, if i ever spent that on a fish, i pray someone would be kicking my @#$% before my wife got me. i thought the same thing when i read sought after, i'd love to see the person or the tank that purchases that fish. who would rish buying, acclimating and just 'hoping' that it survives it all. it has to come with some warranty

Suprisingly there are many people that buy fish at least that expensive although granted they are mostly from the US and overseas. There are a few people in RC and Zeovit that have more than one. Some angels and other rare fish go for in excess of $10,000. The Hong Kong market for rare fish is very active.
So I take it no one is going to buy me this damn fish?

Does it come with a warranty? Can you imagine getting that fish and then it dying in the first couple of days. . .

I wonder if one person bought all those expensive fish: $2500, $500, $450 & $400 fish were all sold in the last day or so. Ouch.
