View Full Version : Anemone pictures - what have you got?
Haven't seen a lot of anem pictures lately so thought I would start a thread to see what everyone had. Here are a couple of mine - both are huge - probably 15" across and in my 190g tank.

I think I've posted most of these before so please forgive the repeats  I haven't been too proactive in getting new shots in lately apparently. My bad!!

I wish I'd have taken the time to scan in pictures of some of my older anemone's. Had a spectacular green S. haddoni for a few years but all I have are 35mm's of it since I sold it before I had a digital camera. This carpet has had quite the ride since then, from my tank it went to AJ_77's, then to Canadian Man, then to Creston care of Golden69_ca.
And I can't beleive I haven't taken any pics of my RBTA. Man I need to correct that!!

This picture is about a year old now, I really should take some new pictures one day.
For about the last 9 months he has been sitting at the top of the glass on the left side of the tank. When fully open the diameter is around 18 "

Ruth,
Wow! The Sebae is doing awesome! Thanks for posting the pic!
Lee the anem is a happy camper and loves to smile for photos. I took that picture on the same day I posted. I think it has even grown since I got it from you. Thanks:mrgreen:

Here's a few pics of my green bubble tip. It's got a really nice purple base.
Let me know what you think.

Hey cprowler,
what kind of anemone is that?
Dwarfs your clown - is the anemone big or your clown small?

It is a Heteractis Magnifica also known as a Ritteri. The Ocellaris clowns are full grown and a mated pair that spawn every 14 days or so.
Last month I was contacted by Eric Brian at Send-A-Ecard.com, he wanted to use this pic of mine for a Ecard. http://send-an-ecard.com/ecards.php/cat/Underwater

I really think the tube anemones are awesome. I have seen some pretty good colors, but the orange tentacles looks really nice.
