Salt Water Fantasy is probaby the cheapest aprox 7.95/lbs or if your looking at buying 50+ pounds, then J&L Aquatics will just over $5.00 a pound including shipping.

Is this a myth or can you do 50% LR and 50 % dry rock in a tank? Dont you need mostly Liverock to clean your tank?

You can stock your tank with mostly dry rock if you want and add a few pieces of live rock to seed the rest. Eventually it will all be "live".
It depends on how patient a person you are..

How much live rock and dry rock should i have to have a nice tank with 2 clowns, a flame angel, an urchin, and im also looking a royal gramma and a sand sifter to clean up some of the sand.

Do you need pretty strong lighting to seed the rock?

IMO I perfer to purchase all my rock as 'live rock' instead of waiting to seed dead rock. IMO its worth the higher price to have as much life as possible introduced to your system in the form or algaes, polyps, animals ect. I dont know how long it would take to fully seed dead rock but I can only guess it would take a long time before it can be compared to purchased LR.
